01

Overview

InboxIQ ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our email management service.

02

Information We Collect

When you use InboxIQ, we access the following Gmail metadata:

  • Sender email addresses and display names
  • Email subject lines
  • Email dates and timestamps
  • Email labels and categories
  • Unsubscribe header information

We also collect your Google account profile information (name, email address, profile photo) for authentication purposes.

03

Information We Do Not Collect

We do not read, store, or process the body content of your emails. We only access metadata necessary to identify senders and manage filters.

04

How We Use Your Information

  • To scan and analyze your inbox for sender frequency and patterns
  • To create Gmail filters that mute unwanted senders
  • To archive existing emails from muted senders
  • To detect potential phishing and impersonation threats
  • To display your dashboard with sender statistics
05

Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase infrastructure. Gmail OAuth tokens are encrypted and stored server-side, accessible only by our backend services. Aggregated sender statistics are stored to power your dashboard.

06

Payment Information

InboxIQ uses Stripe to process payments. When you subscribe to a paid plan:

  • Your payment details (credit card number, billing address) are collected and processed directly by Stripe. We do not store your full card number or CVV on our servers.
  • We receive and store a Stripe customer ID, subscription status, and billing period to manage your account access.
  • Stripe may collect additional information in accordance with their own Privacy Policy.
07

Third-Party Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties. We do not use your data for advertising purposes. Your information is only used to provide the InboxIQ service. The only third-party services that receive your data are Google (for Gmail access) and Stripe (for payment processing).

08

Data Retention

We retain your data only while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from the Settings page, which will remove all your data, including stored sender statistics and Gmail filters we created.

09

Revoking Access

You can revoke InboxIQ's access to your Gmail account at any time through your Google Account permissions. Revoking access will prevent InboxIQ from accessing your email data, but will not remove existing Gmail filters.

10

Google API Disclosure

InboxIQ's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

11

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date.
